Delivering employment and skills

Working closely with construction clients, contractors and supply chains, we develop realistic and sustainable demand plans which focus on tangible employment and skills outputs.

By working together we can:

  • identify and piece together placement opportunities across the supply chain
  • provide employment and completion opportunities for more local apprentices
  • support and deliver against other employment and skills outputs
  • provide flexible, simple solutions to contractors and supply chain that support project durations
  • identify the right candidate for each apprenticeship
  • select the most appropriate training provider
  • tailor a bespoke package of support for both the apprentice and their host company mentor

Our social value reporting shows the real impact of what we can achieve when we work together.

Eastbourne Borough Council

The adoption of the Local Employment and Training Supplementary Planning Document confirms Eastbourne Borough Council’s commitment to ensuring local people have access to employment and training opportunities in the construction industry.

The Council works with construction contractors to achieve employment and training initiatives and in conjunction with TrAC has been able to secure construction apprenticeships on local sites.  The TrAC model is simple and efficient and works well for contractors who wish to offer apprenticeship placements on their developments.
