What will the apprentice be doing on site

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to join a friendly Customer Service team within a busy business-to-business environment. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship, developing valuable skills in administration, communication, customer service and business operations. The successful candidate will receive full training and support from the Customer Services & Accounts Manager. Main Duties: • Answer telephone calls professionally and direct enquiries where appropriate. • Respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner. • Process customer sales orders accurately using internal systems. • Check stock availability and liaise with colleagues regarding customer requirements. • Assist with delivery scheduling and communicate updates to customers. • Liaise with warehouses and transport providers regarding deliveries. • Raise delivery documentation and maintain accurate records. • Support the team with general administration, filing and record keeping. • Learn about the organisation’s product range, customers and supply chain. • Escalate queries or issues to senior team members when required. • Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Due to the location, a full driving licence is required.

What sort of candidate are you looking for

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organised and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in developing a career in business administration and customer service. You’ll need to be confident communicating with people, both face-to-face and over the phone, and have good attention to detail when handling orders, emails and records. You should be reliable, professional and comfortable working as part of a team, while also being able to take responsibility for your own tasks. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, willing to ask questions and happy to get involved in a busy B2B environment. No previous experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.
