About this apprenticeship

This role is not a beginner role and would suit a current professional looking to develop toward management. Main Duties and Responsibilities • Promote and sell accredited training courses, primarily NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications. • Identify and develop new B2B training opportunities with employers and organisations. • Build relationships with prospective clients through telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking and digital marketing activities. • Attend local employment events, networking groups, exhibitions and trade shows to promote the business. • Research and identify new business opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline. • Search for, review and assist with the preparation of PQQs, tender submissions and framework applications. • Support bid writing and contract acquisition activities. • Follow up customer enquiries, quotations and proposals. • Maintain CRM records and sales activity reporting. • Assist with marketing campaigns promoting both B2B and B2C services. • Support the growth of corporate training contracts, consultancy services and repeat business opportunities. • Develop a sound understanding of health and safety training and consultancy services to support customer enquiries and sales conversations. This is a Flexi Job apprenticeship, operated by TrAC. Must be driving or close to completed. some business and customer relations experience. This role will suit someone who is reliable, hardworking and driven to achieve results. They must also be able to work independently. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment. • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft 365. • Professional, organised and customer-focused. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Commercial awareness and willingness to develop sales skills. • Interest in health and safety or a willingness to learn about the sector to support customer conversations and sales activities. Desirable Characteristics • Interest in business development, sales or marketing. • Previous customer service experience. • Understanding of social media and LinkedIn. • Full UK driving licence • Experience of networking or representing an organisation in a professional setting. GCSE Maths - grade 4 or above or Level 2 equivalent GCSE English - grade 4 or above or Level 2 Equivalent A levels or a Level 3 equivalent in a relatable subject. The role is primarily remote/home-based. The successful candidate will attend online meetings and represent the business at local employment events, networking groups, trade shows, exhibitions and client meetings as required. Travel is expected to be local initially, although opportunities for wider travel may arise as the role develops. To support the growth of the company by identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across both B2B and B2C markets, with a particular focus on accredited training courses, consultancy services and long-term client relationships. 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
