We are a non-profit organisation

We make
apprenticeships happen

100% of our apprentices have gone into employment on completion of their training

We are a non-profit company, providing employment opportunities to construction apprentices, whilst helping contractors to meet apprenticeship targets on short term projects.

We employ and provide shared apprentices to our contractor partners for fixed durations.  The service is simple, flexible, and offers apprentices greater security, enabling them to complete their training.

Do you have room for a shared apprentice on your project?

If you don't want the employment responsibility but like the fact that you can simply pay an hourly rate to a non-profit organisation, a TrAC shared apprentice, placed with you or your supply chain could be the low risk answer.

We make apprenticeships happen.

Our focus is on ensuring apprenticeships are sustainable and that apprentices are fully employed for the full duration of their training, not just for the duration of a project.

By working with contractors on a range of different projects, we piece together placements to support apprentices across the whole spectrum of construction and the built environment. This provides opportunities for more apprentices to get the experience they need to achieve their apprenticeship qualification.

A construction apprenticeship is a great way to start a career in the industry and we have a wide range of trade and professional apprenticeships to choose from.

We are a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer.

In January 2017 at the National Apprenticeship Awards in London we were recognised as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer in England during 2016.

Since employing our first apprentice in December 2012, we have secured employment in the industry for 100% of all apprentices who have completed their apprenticeship training with us.

Working together with our partners, we are making a difference.  We can build the future by making a positive contribution to addressing the industry's skills shortage.

TrAC membership benefits for an entire project supply chain.

Our members and their supply chains benefit from flexible trade and technical apprentice placements which support the delivery of social value targets.

TrAC, working in partnership with CITB and its preferred training providers, collaborate to provide the very best network of support to apprentices and the contractors whose projects they work on.
