Apprenticeships in the Visitor Economy sector are available in all fields of the industry. The industry includes more traditional roles such as Commis Chefs at level 2, but also lots of customer facing roles. There are also opportunities in managing and maintaining accommodation, reception roles and in areas such as event management. Because there is a lot of demand for workers, getting an Apprenticeship in this sector is sometimes easier as long as your are prepared to work hard and are confident and outgoing.
TrAC provides bespoke support to every apprentice and focuses heavily on managing the placement to ensure there is time allocated for off the job training, something which we know can be an issue. Our timesheet and attendance records enable us to proactively manage attendance issues in real time. Our apprentice management team works closely with training providers and host companies to ensure the apprentice is given the right experience on site and during their training, and every opportunity to complete their apprenticeship to the highest standard. Training providers will have access to our state of the art apprentice management system providing real time information and ensuring effective communication at all stages of the apprentice journey.
Our Account Managers complete 12 weekly reviews with all our apprentices and training providers are invited to participate in these.
